The Aeon Custom line of basses are made from Fender licensed parts assembled to my quality standards with a custom feature, making it an upgrade from a standard Aeon or Aeon2 bass. While anyone can buy Fender-licensed parts and assemble them, mine are different because of the various improvments that are implemented. In the end, you end up with a bass that you'd pay hundreds of dollars to a guitar tech to do all these things. The value is in the details.
What's different about Aeon basses? Lots. For starters, they include
threaded inserts for Neck Screws,
individual neck attachment bushings,
angled neck heel (no shims required),
rounded fretboard edge,
rounded frets,
bone nut,
threaded inserts for pickups,
threaded inserts for pickguard,
volume, blend, tone configuration,
truss rod access channel,
copper foiled pickup cavities,
copper foiled electronics cavity,
Hipshot "A" bridge and Ultralite tuners
Prototype neck finish: This bass is my first application of the neck's unique finish. Because I'm confident I'll improve the process in the future, I'm considering this neck's finish a prototype, so I'm offering this bass at a special discounted price.
